Before applying antiparasitic medication to treat scabies, take a hot water bath or wash thoroughly with soap and water, then apply the medication over the entire body. During treatment, avoid bathing and changing clothes so that the medication on clothing can also help kill mites. Apply the medication continuously. Disinfect all clothing, and observe for 2 weeks after treatment; if no new rashes appear, the condition can be considered cured. Antihistamines may also be taken orally to relieve itching. It is recommended to maintain a light diet during treatment.
