Hello, During pregnancy, it is best to avoid eating crayfish (also known as “little lobsters”) whenever possible. Some women may experience symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea after consuming them—reactions that vary among individuals. Moreover, crayfish dishes are typically prepared with spicy seasonings. Consuming spicy foods during pregnancy may, on one hand, lead to excessive internal heat in the fetus and, on the other hand, irritate the uterus, potentially triggering uterine contractions that could result in miscarriage or preterm labor. We hope this information is helpful. Wishing you good health!
