What are the symptoms of gallbladder adenomyosis?
Disease description:
During today's physical examination, I was diagnosed with gallbladder adenomyosis. I would like to know what symptoms this condition causes?
Adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder typically involves localized thickening of the gallbladder wall, most commonly at the fundus. It usually does not significantly affect gallbladder function, so patients generally do not exhibit obvious symptoms. Only a small number of patients may experience atypical symptoms, such as abdominal bloating, belching, anorexia, and indigestion, which are nonspecific gastrointestinal discomforts.
