A few days ago I had surgery for under-eye bags, and today I noticed some lower eyelid ectropion. What should I do?

If lower eyelid ectropion occurs after eyelid surgery, it may be due to postoperative swelling when it happens early. Cold and warm compresses combined with massage can be applied locally. Under a doctor's guidance, topical corticosteroid ointments may also be used to help reduce swelling; commonly used medications include tobramycin ointment and dexamethasone ointment. If the condition occurs six months after surgery, surgical correction is typically required, usually involving re-opening the incision made during blepharoplasty and suspending and fixing the skin tissue.
