After liposuction of the buttocks, avoid getting the incision sites wet before stitches are removed. You may take antibiotics as directed by your doctor to prevent infection. Within 14 days after surgery, eat more fresh vegetables or other foods rich in dietary fiber to prevent constipation. Additionally, compression bandaging is usually required at the surgical site for the first few days following the procedure, and afterward, you may switch to wearing compression garments to promote recovery.
