Postoperative注意事项 for High Zygomatic Reduction and Osteotomy Surgery

After reduction osteotomy and bone contouring surgery for high cheekbones, a drain may be placed for 2–3 days postoperatively. Alternatively, thick gauze pads can be used to apply compression dressing to the surgical site to reduce swelling. Additionally, medications to alleviate edema should be taken as directed by the physician to promote wound healing. It is also important to maintain proper postoperative care, including keeping the nasal passages clean and unobstructed, to minimize the risk of infection.
