What are the types of kidney diseases?
Disease description:
Recently, I found that two of my colleagues have both developed kidney disease, but of different types. Since I don't know much about this, I'd like to ask: what are the different types of kidney diseases?
Kidney diseases usually include glomerular diseases, such as chronic glomerulonephritis, acute glomerulonephritis, and lupus glomerulonephritis. They also include tubulointerstitial kidney diseases, such as acute tubular necrosis and acute interstitial nephritis. Additionally, there are renal vascular diseases, such as hemolytic uremic syndrome and hypertensive kidney damage.
