Symptoms of early-stage pancreatic cancer
Disease description:
My friend said my complexion has looked poor lately, with a slightly yellowish tint. He also told me that his friend developed particularly yellow skin after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, so I'm wondering what the early symptoms of pancreatic cancer are.
Early symptoms of pancreatic cancer are usually not obvious. Only a small number of patients may experience gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, and decreased appetite. Some patients may also have unexplained weight loss and changes in stool color. Since pancreatic cancer can impair pancreatic function, patients may develop jaundice—yellowing of the skin—due to elevated levels of bilirubin in the body.
