Differences between flat warts and syringomas
Disease description:
Recently, some small white flesh-colored growths appeared on my face. I thought they were flat warts, but after a medical examination, I was told they are syringomas. May I ask what's the difference between flat warts and syringomas?
The differences between flat warts and syringomas are as follows:
1. Flat warts can occur in any area of the face, whereas syringomas most commonly appear on the bilateral eyelids.
2. The borders of flat warts are mostly irregular and polygonal in shape, with colors ranging from light brown to brown, and they may sometimes be accompanied by itching. In contrast, syringomas typically have well-defined, regular borders that are round or oval-shaped, with colors appearing pale yellow or skin-colored, and generally cause no symptoms.
