Will there be complications after back liposuction surgery?

I have a lot of fat on my back, which makes me look overweight when wearing tight clothing. A friend suggested I try back liposuction, but I've heard it might cause complications. I'm wondering if complications can occur?

Complications may occur after liposuction surgery on the back. Improper postoperative care may lead to subcutaneous hematoma in the liposuction area. If the subcutaneous tissue is damaged, scar nodules may form or localized skin hardening may occur. Numbness and pain in the skin at the liposuction site may also develop, usually due to injury of surrounding nerve tissues.
