Symptoms of herpes stomatitis
Disease description:
Today, my child kept drooling while eating. I noticed many herpes lesions on their lips, which seems to be herpetic stomatitis. I would like to know: what are the symptoms of herpetic stomatitis?
Symptoms of herpetic stomatitis typically include headache, sore throat, generalized muscle pain, fever, drooling, irritability, and so on. Some patients may also develop blisters and extensive mucosal erosion. In addition, recurrent herpetic stomatitis usually presents with symptoms such as blisters, tingling, itching, and may be accompanied by mild erythema.
