Dr. Ma Yan
Neonatal jaundice patches can usually be used and may help reduce jaundice as a supportive measure. For pathological neonatal jaundice, doctors may prescribe oral Yin Zhi Huang liquid or phenobarbital to help decrease bilirubin levels; if the bilirubin reaches the threshold for phototherapy, blue light treatment is required. Physiological neonatal jaundice generally does not require treatment and typically resolves on its own within about two weeks.
