What are the symptoms of breast tumors?
Disease description:
Recently, when touching my breasts with my hands, I found a lump inside. I suspect I might have a breast tumor. What are the symptoms of a breast tumor?
The symptoms of breast tumors are not fixed, as tumors can be either benign or malignant. Benign breast tumors include fibroadenomas and intraductal papillomas. The main symptom of a breast fibroadenoma is a painless, solitary lump that is usually round or oval in shape, often discovered incidentally. Intraductal papillomas typically occur in the enlarged portion of a large duct near the nipple; these tumors are small and prone to causing bleeding. Malignant breast tumors, such as breast cancer, may present with symptoms including a breast lump, abnormal changes in the breast skin, and nipple discharge.
