If symptoms of pubic arthritis are mild, bed rest is recommended, and strenuous physical activity should be avoided. For patients with more severe conditions, strict bed rest is necessary along with taking medications that promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and relieve pain. Local cold compresses or local injections may be performed, but sterile techniques must be strictly followed to prevent infection. For patients with severe disease, combined pubic fusion surgery may be considered as a treatment option.
