What should I do if I have foot pain while standing due to lumbar disc herniation and bone spurs?
Disease description:
Suffering from two bone conditions—herniated lumbar disc and bone spurs—I experience foot pain even while standing. What should I do about foot pain caused by herniated lumbar disc and bone spurs when standing?
Lumbar disc herniation and osteophyte formation can cause foot pain when standing; patients should avoid eating spicy foods. Patients should stay in bed as much as possible to avoid prolonged standing. Treatment includes nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as celecoxib, combined with neurotrophic agents like mecobalamin and Moudan Granules. It is recommended that patients get adequate rest, avoid spicy and irritating foods, and maintain a light diet.
