What are the symptoms of thoracic aortic sclerosis?
Disease description:
I often experience shortness of breath. I read online that it might be related to thoracic aortic sclerosis. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with thoracic aortic sclerosis?
Patients with atherosclerosis of the thoracic aorta may experience symptoms such as chest tightness and fatigue, and in severe cases, may develop hemiplegia and aphasia. Moderate arterial sclerosis in blood vessels may result from luminal narrowing, leading to insufficient blood supply to the heart and cerebral vessels. Therefore, under such conditions, patients may present with palpitations, weakness, headache, and dizziness.
