Bleeding after a hysterectomy is generally caused by bleeding from the vaginal stump or irritation from surgical sutures. It is recommended to go to the hospital promptly for regular check-ups. If bleeding is considered to originate from the vaginal stump, especially if bleeding occurs within one month after the uterus has just been removed, it may be due to absorbable sutures used during the procedure irritating the vaginal stump, thereby causing hyperplasia of vaginal tissue. Patients do not need to stay in bed frequently and can appropriately engage in daily activities.
