What are the symptoms of genital warts in women?
Disease description:
While taking a shower today, I noticed many small bumps around the external genital area. My husband said it might be genital warts. Could you please tell me what symptoms this condition has?
In women, genital warts commonly occur on the labia majora, labia minora, vagina, cervix, perineum, and perianal area. They typically appear as pale red papules with cauliflower-like, papillary, or cockscomb-like shapes. Symptoms may include increased vaginal discharge and pruritus of the external genitalia. As the condition progresses, the papules may gradually increase in both size and number.
