Frequently consuming high-calorie, high-fat foods leads to excess caloric intake and insufficient calcium, which restricts bone development and results in weight gain without height increase. Regularly eating foods containing hormones may cause premature development, including increasingly evident secondary sexual characteristics, also indicating that height growth has ceased. Additionally, a medical examination revealing closure of the epiphyseal growth plates suggests that height has stabilized and will no longer increase.
