My son is 15 years old this year and not very tall. I'm not sure if he can still grow taller. What are the signs that a boy's growth plates have closed?

Signs of growth plate closure in boys include the development of secondary sexual characteristics. Boys typically develop an Adam's apple, pubic hair, and underarm hair, and some may experience nocturnal emissions. Additionally, if a child's height has shown no increase or very little growth over the past two years, this may also indicate that the growth plates have closed. Furthermore, if the body is currently gaining weight or becoming heavier, this could be another sign that bone growth has stopped and the growth plates have closed.
