Elevated levels of white blood cells, neutrophils, and monocytes may be associated with bacterial and viral infections, as well as localized autoimmune diseases. The most common blood test finding is an increased total count of white blood cells and neutrophils, as seen in conditions such as suppurative tonsillitis. In epidemic hemorrhagic fever, also known as hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, the initial phase of the disease may present with leukocytosis and neutropenia. It is recommended to maintain a balanced diet and avoid staying up late whenever possible.
