Prothrombin complex concentrate is a clinical medication used to treat coagulation disorders. It contains four vitamin K-dependent clotting factors: factor II, factor VII, factor IX, and factor X. Therefore, prothrombin complex concentrate can improve bleeding and coagulation disorders caused by deficiencies in these clotting factors, as well as those resulting from excessive anticoagulant use, vitamin K deficiency, or liver disease.
