What are the symptoms of liver hemangioma?
Disease description:
When getting up in the morning, I experienced abdominal bloating and am concerned it might be caused by a liver tumor. I would like to know what discomfort symptoms are associated with hepatic hemangioma.
Hepatic hemangiomas may cause a variety of discomfort symptoms, including but not limited to dull, stabbing, or distending pain in the abdomen, typically located in the right upper quadrant. This discomfort is often due to the hemangioma enlarging and compressing surrounding tissues or organs. Additionally, as the hemangioma grows, patients may feel an abdominal mass or bulge, and sometimes even hear a vascular murmur. When the hemangioma becomes large enough, it may compress other organs, leading to a series of problems such as splenomegaly, ascites, dyspnea, and gastrointestinal symptoms. Symptoms such as jaundice, weight loss, and anemia may also be associated with hepatic hemangiomas. If these symptoms occur, prompt medical evaluation and treatment are recommended.
