Disease description:

My grandfather died from a cerebral hemorrhage. I heard he had high blood pressure before his death, and it was quite severe. Later, he passed away from brain bleeding before being taken to the hospital. What condition caused this?

In clinical practice, there are many causes of cerebral hemorrhage, the most common being hypertension—especially when blood pressure remains poorly controlled over a long period. Under such conditions, cerebral hemorrhage is easily triggered, particularly during situations involving emotional excitement, arguments with others, or straining during bowel movements, all of which can cause a sudden spike in blood pressure, leading to vessel rupture and subsequent brain bleed. Additionally, certain factors such as diabetes and hyperlipidemia may accelerate the degree of vascular hardening and vascular damage, ultimately resulting in cerebral hemorrhage.
