Night blindness refers to the inability to see clearly at night, accompanied by blurred vision. This condition is also known as keratomalacia and typically presents with normal vision in brighter environments. Glaucoma, another eye disease, results from elevated intraocular pressure caused by underlying medical conditions, leading to decreased vision, visual field defects, and blurred appearance of the optic nerve. Night blindness specifically manifests as poor vision in low light, whereas glaucoma involves symptoms such as eye pain, swelling, dryness, a foreign body sensation, headache, and nausea.
