What causes anemia, hypotension, and shock?
Disease description:
I've always had anemia, and recently experienced hypotensive shock. What causes anemia-related hypotensive shock?
Anemia, hypotension, and shock are caused by slow blood circulation, insufficient blood volume, and other factors leading to ischemia in the brain and other vital organs. Anemia primarily results from a low number of red blood cells or insufficient hemoglobin levels; individuals with anemia may experience symptoms such as dizziness, headache, and fainting. Sudden postural changes—such as quickly standing up after prolonged squatting—can easily lead to orthostatic hypotension and subsequent fainting. In daily life, attention should be paid to diet and nutrition. It is advisable to consume more foods rich in protein and iron, drink more mild physiological saline, and engage in regular physical exercise to strengthen overall health.
