Possible causes of trigeminal neuralgia in the left ear may include vascular compression, neuritis, or acoustic neuroma. In cases of vascular compression, the blood vessels are initially very soft and in contact with the nerve, but their pulsation does not severely stimulate the nerve. However, as age increases, the degree of vascular hardening intensifies. Under certain specific conditions, the pulsating vessel can irritate the nerve, making it highly susceptible to triggering pain episodes. No treatment is required.
