Stroke may present with transient visual disturbances, dizziness, and other symptoms. Visual impairment and blurred vision occur paroxysmally and usually resolve within one hour. This is caused by occlusion of the central retinal artery or its branches, although no cerebral neurological symptoms are currently present. Dizziness, especially sudden vertigo, may also occur. Patients are advised to seek timely medical evaluation at a hospital.
