What are the sequelae of pituitary tumors?

Pituitary tumors generally cause sequelae such as headaches and diabetes insipidus. If the tumor resection outcome is relatively favorable but transient hormonal deficiency occurs, short-term hormone replacement therapy can be administered in the endocrinology department to help restore normal pituitary function. Diabetes insipidus can be managed by taking Minirin tablets to regulate urine output. In cases of infection, early external ventricular drainage and anti-infective treatment should be promptly performed.
