Disease description:

My baby is the same. Children are always restless, and after falling from a height, they vomit. They went to the hospital, and the doctor said it was a mild concussion. I'd like to ask what should be done in such a situation?

Children who experience vomiting after a concussion should first be taken to a local hospital for treatment, and a neurosurgeon should be consulted to assess the current condition. Most children have concussions caused by head trauma. Symptoms typically include significant headache, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. For safety, the child should undergo a head CT scan to help rule out the possibility of organic brain diseases. If radiation exposure is a concern and the child is able to cooperate, a head MRI may be considered instead. MRI is relatively safe and does not involve radiation.
