What causes urgency, decreased urine output, and frequent urination?
Disease description:
After getting up this morning, I noticed urgency and frequent urination, with very little urine each time. I would like to know what could be causing urinary urgency, decreased urine volume, and frequent urination.
Frequent urination with urgency and reduced urine output may occur after the urinary tract is invaded by pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses or bacteria, leading to congestion and edema of the urethral mucosa. The inflammation irritates the urethral lining, causing these symptoms. Additionally, when the bladder is stimulated by pathogens, it may result in edema and erosion of the mucosa at the bladder neck and trigone area, preventing complete emptying of urine during urination.
