In the case of persistent diarrhea caused by chronic enteritis, the first step is to establish a clear diagnosis and rule out other possible conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, infectious enteritis, or food intolerances.

Diet should primarily consist of bland, easily digestible foods, such as eggs, fine noodles, and congee. Consumption of high-fiber foods, raw or cold foods, and greasy foods should be reduced. Develop good hygiene habits, such as washing hands before meals and after using the toilet. Maintain a regular lifestyle and engage in appropriate physical activity.

Medications such as montmorillonite powder can be used to enhance the defensive capacity of the mucosal barrier and promote recovery of gastrointestinal function. In more severe cases, loperamide or diphenoxylate may be considered, but long-term use is not recommended. For significant abdominal pain, medications such as pinaverium bromide tablets or racemic anisodamine tablets can be used. All medications should be used under medical supervision.

Maintain a regular routine, avoid excessive fatigue, and engage in moderate exercise, which helps improve intestinal function. Additionally, stress-reduction techniques such as meditation and yoga can help alleviate symptoms triggered by stress. Patients should actively participate in their treatment, understand and follow medical advice to achieve the best therapeutic outcomes. During treatment, any new symptoms or worsening of the condition should be promptly reported to a physician.
