Can Lianhua Qingwen capsules be taken together with cephalosporin?

I've had a cold for the past couple of days. My family advised me to take Lianhua Qingwen capsules, but I haven't seen any improvement. They now suggest taking cephalosporin as well. May I ask if it's safe to take Lianhua Qingwen capsules together with cephalosporin?

Lianhua Qingwen capsules should not be taken together with cephalosporins; it is recommended to take them half an hour apart. Lianhua Qingwen capsules are a traditional Chinese medicine, while cephalosporins are Western medicine. Due to individual differences in patients' constitutions, the effects of these drugs may vary. Taking them simultaneously might cause discomfort; therefore, taking them half an hour apart is advised to reduce gastrointestinal irritation.
