They could also be caused by infections from pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or mycoplasma, leading to upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, or similar conditions. Additionally, systemic diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus or rheumatoid arthritis may also cause these symptoms.
