What color is the tongue in wind-heat感冒?
Disease description:
I've had a runny nose frequently these past few days, and the tip of my tongue appears slightly red. I suspect it's a wind-heat type of cold. What color does the tongue usually appear in wind-heat感冒?
The tongue of patients with wind-heat感冒 is primarily characterized by a slight yellow color and a thin white coating. Upon close observation, the tip of the tongue appears reddish. If the patient consumes excessive rich, sweet, greasy, or hard-to-digest foods during the illness, the tongue coating may become yellow and greasy. In addition to abnormal tongue manifestations, wind-heat感冒 is also accompanied by symptoms such as sore throat, nasal congestion, and cough.
