For primary hepatic cysts, if the patient does not experience significant discomfort, treatment is generally not required; regular follow-up examinations should be conducted as directed by a physician. If the cyst gradually enlarges, causes compression on surrounding tissues, or develops intracystic infection, fenestration and drainage of the hepatic cyst may be considered under medical guidance. For deeply located cysts or those with potential for malignant transformation, partial hepatectomy may be recommended according to the physician's advice.
