Patients with wind-heat感冒 typically experience fever, aversion to wind, fullness and headache, or cough with yellow phlegm. Some patients may develop red, swollen, and painful throats due to wind-heat irritation. Others may also have yellowish, pus-like nasal discharge and a yellow tongue coating. Patients with wind-cold感冒 usually present with mild fever, headache without sweating, or generalized body aches. Some may have clear, watery nasal discharge, nasal congestion, and cough with thin, white phlegm.
