Can hyaluronic acid slim the face?

Hyaluronic acid cannot be directly used for facial slimming. Hyaluronic acid is primarily used for filling and shaping suitable areas of the body, such as the forehead, temples, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, earlobes, and lips, to achieve cosmetic and anti-aging effects. In contrast, facial slimming is typically achieved through injections of botulinum toxin, which, after repeated administrations, causes the masseter muscles to atrophy and shrink, thereby slimming the face. Therefore, hyaluronic acid cannot directly achieve a facial slimming effect.
