Patients with tinnitus should apply the Sanfu patch to the Er Yan (Eryan) acupoint or the Er Wai (Erwai) acupoint. The Eryan acupoint is located on the lateral side of the earlobe, below the ear tip. When the fingertip of the thumb gently touches the lateral edge of the earlobe and then moves forward approximately 1.5 cm, the point lies in the depression below the ear tip. The Erwai acupoint is also located on the lateral side of the earlobe, below the ear tip. When the fingertip of the thumb gently touches the lateral edge of the earlobe and then moves forward approximately 2.5 cm, the point lies in the depression below the ear tip.
