When a child has contracted influenza B, it is important to take medication as directed by a physician to reduce the risk of complications. If there are no complications, the child can stay at home in isolation and receive symptomatic supportive treatment. If sore throat occurs, medications that soothe the throat and relieve discomfort should be taken. In cases of high fever—when body temperature exceeds 38.5°C—antipyretic drugs should be administered to reduce the fever. For severe coughing, antitussive medications are recommended. Daily care is essential: provide light, easily digestible meals; encourage drinking plenty of warm water; and increase intake of fresh vegetables and fruits to supplement vitamins. To prevent worsening of the condition, prompt medical attention is advised.
