Generally speaking, calculi refer to solid masses formed by the deposition of minerals and organic substances, which can develop in various parts of the body such as the kidneys, urinary tract, gallbladder, pancreas, etc. Consuming foods high in calcium, oxalate, and phosphate—such as spinach, celery, milk, and others—on a regular basis may lead to the formation of calcium carbonate stones, calcium phosphate stones, or calcium oxalate stones when these substances deposit in urine and bind with calcium. Insufficient water intake, excessive physical activity causing heavy sweating, and failure to replenish fluids promptly can reduce urine volume, leading to salt crystallization and stone formation. Patients are advised to seek timely medical attention when experiencing discomfort and to follow standard treatment regimens as directed by healthcare professionals to avoid delaying proper management of the condition.
