What are the symptoms of gallbladder adenomyosis?
Disease description:
I have been diagnosed with gallbladder adenomyomatosis. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with gallbladder adenomyomatosis?
Patients with gallbladder adenomyosis may experience symptoms such as right upper abdominal pain, biliary bleeding, and indigestion. The right upper abdominal pain in these patients may be caused by abnormal hyperplasia of the gallbladder, leading to structural and functional changes that result in pain. Gallbladder adenomyosis may also cause biliary bleeding due to thickening of the gallbladder wall. Additionally, the condition can impair bile emptying, causing bile to remain in the gallbladder for prolonged periods and leading to symptoms of indigestion.
