2. Gastrointestinal discomfort: Gallstones with cholecystitis may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, indigestion, and loss of appetite, impairing normal digestive function.
3. Fever: Infection due to cholecystitis can affect the body's temperature regulation center, leading to a sustained rise in body temperature, typically exceeding 38°C.
4. Jaundice: Obstruction at the neck of the gallbladder may prevent normal bile outflow, increasing serum bilirubin levels and causing jaundice, which manifests as yellowing of the skin and sclera.
