Proper preparation of infant formula is crucial. Detailed steps for preparing formula: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly, and ensure that bottles, nipples, and all utensils have been properly cleaned and sterilized. 2. Use boiled and cooled drinking water—avoid purified or mineral water. Pour the appropriate amount of warm water (typically around 40°C) into the bottle first. 3. Add the formula powder strictly according to the instructions on the can, usually a specific amount of powder per 100 milliliters of water. 4. Hold the bottle and gently shake it in one direction to fully dissolve the powder, minimizing the formation of air bubbles. 5. Test the temperature of the formula to ensure it's suitable; drop a small amount on the inside of your wrist to check. 6. If the baby does not finish the bottle, the remaining formula can be kept at room temperature for up to one hour. Avoid keeping it in warm water for extended periods, as this may promote bacterial growth.
