Will drinking soy milk powder cause weight gain?
I especially enjoy drinking soy milk powder, and I consume it almost every day. However, I recently noticed an increase in my weight and suspect it might be related to drinking soy milk powder. I would like to know whether drinking soy milk powder actually causes weight gain.

Drinking soy milk powder in moderation generally does not cause weight gain. However, if consumed alongside long-term unhealthy habits, it may contribute to weight gain.
Soy milk powder is made from soybeans and is rich in high-quality plant protein, dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It has relatively low fat content and is considered a relatively healthy beverage. Under normal circumstances, moderate consumption of soy milk powder does not lead to weight gain.
Soy milk powder contains abundant nutrients, including protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, and various vitamins and minerals. However, due to its sweet taste, it often contains added sugars, making its calorie content relatively high. If one consumes large amounts of high-fat, high-calorie foods, lacks physical activity, and also drinks excessive amounts of soy milk powder, weight gain may occur.
Soy milk powder can serve as a good source of protein but should not completely replace other foods. Maintaining a diverse diet and balanced intake of various nutrients helps maintain a healthy weight. It is important to control total calorie intake and combine it with appropriate physical activity to maintain a healthy body weight.
