Why does stomach ache occur without being able to pass stool?
Disease description:
I have stomach pain but can't pass stool. I want to know why I have abdominal pain yet am unable to defecate.
Abdominal pain accompanied by an inability to pass stool may involve various factors. Constipation is a common cause. When intestinal peristalsis slows down, feces can become stagnant and dry in the intestines, leading to difficulty in defecation and possibly associated abdominal pain. Poor lifestyle habits, such as irregular diet and lack of physical activity, may also impair normal intestinal function, resulting in gastrointestinal dysfunction that triggers abdominal pain and difficulty passing stool. Intestinal disorders such as intestinal spasms or chronic enteritis may also cause similar symptoms. If this condition persists or worsens, prompt medical attention is recommended. A doctor will make a diagnosis based on specific symptoms and provide an appropriate treatment plan to help relieve abdominal pain and restore normal bowel function.
