Differences among bivalent, quadrivalent, and nonavalent cervical cancer vaccines
Recently, I'm considering getting the cervical cancer vaccine and would like to ask: what are the differences between the bivalent, quadrivalent, and nonavalent HPV vaccines?

The bivalent, quadrivalent, and nonavalent HPV vaccines differ in several aspects.
They protect against different numbers of HPV strains. The bivalent vaccine primarily prevents HPV types 16 and 18, the quadrivalent vaccine additionally covers HPV types 6 and 11, while the nonavalent vaccine offers broader protection by covering nine types of HPV. These vaccines also differ in the range of diseases they prevent and their efficacy rates, with the nonavalent vaccine showing higher effectiveness in preventing cervical cancer, genital warts, and other related conditions.
