What are the symptoms of recurrent gastric ulcers?
Disease description:
I had a gastric ulcer once in the first half of the year. Recently, I haven't been eating properly and am worried about a recurrence. What are the symptoms of a gastric ulcer recurrence?

When gastric ulcers recur, common symptoms include epigastric pain, which tends to be periodic and rhythmic, worsening after meals or during hunger, and may be accompanied by a burning sensation or dull pain. At the same time, patients may experience digestive disturbances such as acid reflux, belching, and nausea, with vomiting sometimes occurring in severe cases. If the recurrence of gastric ulcers leads to bleeding, patients may experience hematemesis (vomiting blood) and melena (black tarry stools). Additionally, due to poor nutrient absorption and loss of appetite, patients may exhibit systemic symptoms such as weight loss and pallor. Once these symptoms appear, patients should seek medical attention promptly to receive timely and effective treatment.
