Frequent hair loss does not necessarily lead to baldness, as this depends on multiple factors. The natural hair growth cycle includes the anagen (growth) phase, catagen (transition) phase, and telogen (resting) phase. Under normal circumstances, hair shedding and regrowth occur daily. If the amount of hair loss remains within the normal range and the total hair volume stays stable, baldness typically will not occur. However, if hair loss increases abnormally and exceeds the rate of new hair growth, this warrants attention. It may be caused by genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, excessive mental stress, malnutrition, or certain medical conditions. In such cases, if timely interventions and treatments are not implemented, progressive hair thinning and even baldness may eventually develop over time.
