Causes of Excessive Liver Fire
Disease description:
I often have excessive liver fire, which makes my temper bad and I get angry easily. My face is always red, and my mouth is dry. What are the causes of excessive liver fire?
The causes of excessive liver fire include the following points:
1. Emotional factors: Long-term emotional depression or sudden outbursts of anger can easily lead to stagnation of liver qi or excessive upward movement of qi, thus triggering excessive liver fire.
2. Dietary factors: Frequent consumption of spicy, greasy, and irritating foods, as well as excessive alcohol intake, can increase internal heat, affect liver blood circulation, and induce liver fire.
3. Lifestyle habits: Unhealthy lifestyle habits such as high work pressure, long-term late nights, and lack of physical activity may lead to yin deficiency and internal heat, thereby worsening liver fire symptoms.
4. Disease-related factors: Underlying conditions such as hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hepatitis, drug-induced hepatitis, and fatty liver hepatitis may cause liver damage, manifesting as excessive liver fire.
